Eligibility Criteria for WII Dehradun Technical Assistant, Jr Stenographer & Others Recruitment 2024

Below are the detailed eligibility criteria for various positions under Wildlife Institute of India(WII) Dehradun Recruitment 2024:

General Requirements:

1. Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens.
2. Age Limit: As on January 6, 2025, candidates must meet the age criteria specified for each post. Relaxations are applicable as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC categories, departmental candidates, and others.

Post-wise Eligibility Details:

1. Technical Assistant (IT & RS/GIS)

• Education:
  • First Class B.Sc. (CS/IT/Remote Sensing/GIS/Data Science) OR
  • BCA/B.E./B.Tech. in relevant disciplines OR
  • First Class B.Sc. with Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science OR
  • First Class three-year full-time Diploma in CS/IT.
• Age: 18-28 years.

2. Technical Assistant (Engineering)

• Education:
  • First Class 3-year full-time Diploma in Civil Engineering/Architecture OR
  • First Class B.Tech in Civil Engineering/Bachelor in Architecture.
• Age: 18-28 years.

3. Technical Assistant (Audio Visual)

• Education:
  • First Class B.Sc. (CS/IT/Electronics), BCA, B.E., or B.Tech. in relevant disciplines OR
  • First Class B.Sc. with a Diploma in Computer Science/Digital Photography/Video Editing/Sound Recording OR
  • First Class three-year full-time Diploma in the above fields.
• Age: 18-28 years.

4. Technician (Field)

• Education:
  • 12th (Science) with 60% aggregate AND a Diploma in Civil Engineering/Draughtsman/Land Survey/Architecture.
• Age: 18-28 years.

5. Junior Stenographer

• Education:
  • 10+2/XII or equivalent.
  • Speed of 80 WPM in shorthand and 40/35 WPM typing speed (English/Hindi) on computer.
• Age: 18-27 years.

6. Assistant Grade-III

• Education:
  • 10+2/XII or equivalent.
  • Typing speed of 35/30 WPM (English/Hindi) on computer.
• Age: 18-27 years.

7. Driver (Ordinary Grade)

• Education:
  • 10th Standard.
  • Valid driving license for light and heavy vehicles with 3 years’ driving experience.
• Age: 18-27 years.

8. Cook

• Education:
  • High School with Degree/Diploma in Cookery.
• Desirable:
  • 2 years’ experience as a cook/bearer in a reputed hotel or organization.
• Age: 18-27 years.

9. Lab Attendant

• Education:
  • 12th (Science) with 60% aggregate OR
  • 10th with 60% aggregate and a 2-year Certificate/Diploma in Library Science, Lab Technology, or IT.
• Age: 18-28 years.
