Eligibility Criteria for UPPSC Various Post Recruitment 2024

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) invites applications for multiple posts across different departments. Here are the detailed eligibility criteria for all the posts :

1. Assistant Architect

• Pay Scale: ₹15,600 – ₹39,100 (Grade Pay ₹7600, Level-10)
• Age Limit: 21 to 40 years (Age relaxation as per rules).
• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from a university established by law in India or equivalent qualifications recognized under the Architects Act, 1972.
  • Must meet professional qualifications as per Section 14 of the Architects Act, 1972.

2. Reader (Ayurveda)

• Specializations Include: Kaya Chikitsa, Kaumaarbhritya, Rachna Shareer, Kriya Shareer, and others.
• Pay Scale: ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 (Level-11)
• Age Limit: 28 to 45 years (Relaxation as per rules).
• Educational Qualification:
  • Five years’ degree in Ayurveda from a recognized university or board.
  • Seven years of teaching experience in the relevant subject (Five years for Postgraduate holders).
  • Working knowledge of Hindi, English, and Sanskrit.
• Preferential Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualifications.
  • Research work or publication of papers/books.
  • Territorial Army service or NCC ‘B’ certificate.

3. Professor (Ayurveda)

• Specializations Include: Kaumaarbhritya, Rachna Shareer, Kriya Shareer, and others.
• Pay Scale: ₹78,800 – ₹2,09,200 (Level-12)
• Age Limit: 30 to 50 years (Relaxation as per rules).
• Educational Qualification:
  • Five years’ degree in Ayurveda.
  • Ten years of teaching experience, including three years as a Reader.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi, English, and Sanskrit.
• Preferential Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualifications.
  • Research work or publication of papers/books.

4. Lecturer (Sanskrit)

• Pay Scale: ₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500 (Level-10)
• Age Limit: 25 to 40 years (Relaxation as per rules).
• Educational Qualification:
  • M.A. in Sanskrit (First Class) or Acharya in Vyakaran/Sanskrit Sahitya.
  • Three years of teaching experience in recognized institutions.
  • Working knowledge of Hindi and English.
• Preferential Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Sanskrit.
  • Research work or publication of papers/books.

5. Inspector (Rajkiya Karyalaya)

• Pay Scale: ₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 (Level-7)
• Age Limit: 35 to 42 years.
  • Maximum age limit of 50 years for candidates already officiating as Inspectors.
• Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
  • Ten years of continuous service in ministerial posts under the government.
• Preferential Qualifications:
  • Training in O&M or Diploma in Public Administration.
  • Master’s degree in Public Administration or Business Administration.
  • Three years of supervisory experience out of the requisite ten years of service.

6. Professor (Homoeopathy)

• Specializations Include: Organon of Medicine, Repertory, Pathology, and others.
• Pay Scale: ₹67,700 – ₹2,08,700 (Level-11)
• Age Limit: 28 to 45 years (Relaxation as per rules).
• Educational Qualification:
  • Postgraduate degree in Homoeopathy.
  • Four years of teaching experience as an Assistant Professor or Lecturer.
• Preferential Qualifications:
  • Research experience or publication of papers.
  • Experience as Supervisor/Co-Supervisor for postgraduate courses.

General Eligibility:

1. Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.
2. Knowledge of Hindi: Essential for all posts.
3. Age Relaxation:
   • SC/ST/OBC of Uttar Pradesh: 5 years.
   • PWD candidates: 15 years.
   • Other relaxations as per UP government norms.
4. Physical Eligibility: Specific to posts where applicable (e.g., disability subcategories).
5. Reservation: Applicable for SC/ST/OBC/EWS and other categories per UP government rules.
