The Staff Selection Commission will hold an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination for direct recruitment to Group B Non-Gazetted posts of Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translation Officer, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Senior Translator for various Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India.

1. Age Limit:
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 27 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD (Unreserved): 10 years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 3 years after deducting the military service rendered from the actual age as of the closing date
2. Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed the 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized board or university.
- For Data Entry Operator (DEO) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), candidates must have passed 12th Standard in the Science stream with Mathematics as a subject.
3. Nationality:
- A candidate must be either:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal/Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, to permanently settle in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam to permanently settle in India.
