Eligibility Criteria for SBI Assistant Manager (Engineer) Recruitment
The State Bank of India invites applications from dynamic and qualified individuals for the roles of Assistant Manager (Engineer – Civil, Electrical, and Fire) under its Specialist Cadre Officers (SCO) recruitment.Below are the detailed eligibility criteria for the recruitment:
1. Assistant Manager (Engineer – Civil)
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or institution.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or maintenance of multi-storey buildings (commercial, institutional, or residential).
- Exposure to RCC framed structures, pile foundations, concrete work, mix design, material testing, or cost estimation.
- Age Limit (as of 01.10.2024):
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years
2. Assistant Manager (Engineer – Electrical)
- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized university or institution.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in installation, handling, and maintenance of electrical equipment such as UPS, generators, HVAC, lifts, motors, and switchgear.
- Experience in preparation and evaluation of tender specifications.
- Age Limit (as of 01.10.2024):
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years
3. Assistant Manager (Engineer – Fire)
- Educational Qualification:
- Any of the following degrees or certifications:
- B.E. (Fire) from National Fire Service College (NFSC), Nagpur.
- B.E./B.Tech in Safety & Fire Engineering or Fire Technology & Safety Engineering.
- Equivalent 4-year degree in Fire Safety from a UGC-recognized university or AICTE-approved institution.
- Graduate of the Institution of Fire Engineers (India/UK) or Divisional Officer Course from NFSC Nagpur.
- Any of the following degrees or certifications:
- Experience:
- If holding B.E./B.Tech (Fire/Safety Engineering): Minimum 2 years in fire safety roles in a reputed organization.
- If holding a Graduate of Institution of Fire Engineers or Divisional Officer course: Minimum 3 years as a Station Officer or equivalent in Fire Brigade/PSUs or corporate fire safety.
- Age Limit (as of 01.10.2024):
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 40 years
General Eligibility:
- Age Relaxation:
- Reserved categories will have relaxation as per Government of India guidelines.
- Key Requirements:
- Educational qualifications and experience must be completed by October 1, 2024.
- Experience certificates must clearly specify the field of expertise and duration.
- Reservation:
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD categories must submit valid certificates to avail reservation benefits.
