Eligibility Criteria for RRC ER Sports Quota Recruitment 2024-25

The Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Eastern Railway (ER), invites online applications from eligible sportspersons for recruitment under the Sports Quota for the year 2024-25. Below are the detailed eligibility criteria for various positions under RRC ER Sports Quota Recruitment 2024:

General Eligibility:

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 25 years (as on 01.01.2025).
• Note: No age relaxation is allowed.

Educational Qualification:

1. Level-4/Level-5:
   • Graduation or equivalent from a Government-recognized University/Institution.
2. Level-2/Level-3:
   • 12th Standard (10+2 stage) or equivalent from a Government-recognized Board/Council/Institution.
   • For Technician-III: 10th Pass with ITI/National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC).
3. Level-1:
   • 10th Pass or ITI/NAC equivalent from a Government-recognized Board/Council/Institution.

Sports Eligibility:

1. For Level-4/Level-5:
   • Represented the country in Olympic Games (Senior Category).
   • Secured at least 3rd position in World Championships, World Cups, or Asian/Commonwealth Games (Senior/Junior).
2. For Level-2/Level-3:
   • Represented the country in World Championships, World Cups, Asian/Commonwealth Games.
   • Secured at least 3rd position in National Games or Federation Cup Championships.
3. For Level-1:
   • Represented a state or equivalent unit and secured at least 8th position in Senior National Championships.
   • For team games: Represented a state/equivalent unit in a recognized national championship.
