Eligibility Criteria for MPPGCL Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2024

The Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) has announced recruitment for the post of Assistant Engineer (Production). Below are the detailed eligibility criteria and other important information:

Educational Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering (P01):
  • BE/B.Tech or AMIE in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university approved by AICTE/UGC.
• Electrical Engineering (P02):
  • BE/B.Tech or AMIE in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized university approved by AICTE/UGC.
• Electronics Engineering (P03):
  • BE/B.Tech or AMIE in Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation/Electronics & Telecommunication/Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized university approved by AICTE/UGC.

 Experience Requirements:

• For all positions:
  Candidates must have relevant experience in operations and maintenance of thermal power plants with a minimum capacity of 210 MW in a state/central government PSU or an Independent Power Producer (IPP).

 Age Limit:

• As of January 1, 2024:
  • Minimum Age: 21 years
  • Maximum Age: 40 years
  • Relaxations:
    • SC/ST/OBC/PWD (Non-Creamy Layer): Up to 45 years for Madhya Pradesh residents.
    • Ex-servicemen: Service period deducted from age, with an additional relaxation of three years.

Additional Conditions:

• Candidates must be Indian citizens.
• Only one application per candidate is allowed.
