Eligibility Criteria for LIC Direct Sales Executives (DSE)

1. Nationality:

The candidate must be an Indian citizen.

2. Age Limit:

Minimum age: 21 years

Maximum age: 35 years

Age relaxation:

• Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes: 5 years
• Other Backward Classes: 3 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Varies based on category (SC/ST: 47 years, OBC: 45 years, others: 42 years)

3. Educational Qualification:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Preference may be given to candidates with:
• A Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Marketing/Management.
• Good working knowledge of English and one regional language (preferably the local language).
• Knowledge of soft skills such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.

4. Other Conditions:

• The spouse of employees and agents of LIC of India is not eligible for engagement.
• Agents of LIC of India holding a valid license issued by the IRDA are not eligible.
• Agents working with other insurers need to submit a ‘No Objection Certificate’ (NOC) from their insurer.
• Preference may be given to applicants with prior marketing experience.
