Eligibility Criteria for LIC Apprentice Development Officer (ADO)
1. Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree: Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university in India.
- Preferred Qualifications: Preference is given to candidates with a better understanding of insurance marketing or those who possess a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) or a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from an institute approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
2. Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age Relaxation:
- Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST): Up to 35 years
- Other Backward Classes (OBC – Non-Creamy Layer): Up to 33 years
- LIC Employees: Up to 42 years (general), 45 years (OBC), and 47 years (SC/ST)
- LIC Agents: Up to 40 years (general), 43 years (OBC), and 45 years (SC/ST)
- Ex-Servicemen: The number of years of service in the armed forces, subject to a maximum age of 45 years (OBC), 47 years (SC/ST), and 42 years (others).
3. Experience
- Employee Category: Candidates should have at least 3 years of service in a Grade III post.
- Agents Category: Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience as an agent or other specified categories.
- Others Category: Preference is given to candidates with at least 2 years of experience in the insurance sector.
4. Nationality
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
