Eligibility Criteria for JHC District Judge Recruitment 2024

The Jharkhand High Court invites applications for the position of District Judge through its 2024 recruitment drive. Candidates meeting the following eligibility criteria are encouraged to apply:

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:
   • Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university or institute.
   • Registration as an advocate under the Advocates Act, 1961, is mandatory.
2. Experience:
   • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience as an advocate on the last date of application submission.
3. Age Limit:
   • • Minimum: 35 years
     • Maximum: 45 years (as of January 31, 2023)
     • Relaxation: Upper age limit relaxed by 3 years for SC/ST candidates.
4. Nationality:
   • Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
5. Additional Requirements:

• • Sound knowledge of procedural and substantive laws.
  • Good physical and mental health to discharge duties effectively.
