Eligibility Criteria for GAIL India Chief Manager E5 Grade Recruitment 2024

GAIL (India) Limited, a Maharatna PSU, invites applications from eligible Indian nationals for various Chief Manager positions in E5 Grade. Below are the detailed eligibility criteria for the recruitment:

General Eligibility:

  1. Educational Criteria:
    • Full-time regular courses are mandatory.
    • Integrated and dual-degree programs are accepted if meeting the minimum percentage requirement.
  2. Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC (NCL): 3 years
    • PwBD: Up to 15 years based on category
    • Ex-Servicemen: As per GOI rules
    • Maximum upper age including all relaxations: 56 years.
  3. Experience Calculation:
    • Experience should be as of December 11, 2024.
    • Only direct employment is considered; agency/contractual roles are not.

Post-Specific Eligibility:

 

1. Chief Manager (Renewable Energy)

  • Educational Qualification:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical) with a minimum of 65% marks.
  • Experience:Minimum 12 years of post-qualification experience, with at least 8 years in Renewable Energy (e.g., Wind/Solar/Green Hydrogen).

2. Chief Manager (Economist)

  • Educational Qualification:Postgraduate Degree in Economics, Applied Economics, Business Economics, or Econometrics with at least 60% marks.
  • Experience:At least 12 years in energy/oil & gas sector as an Economist/Analyst.

3. Chief Manager (Law)

  • Educational Qualification:Graduate Degree with at least 55% marks and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB) with a minimum of 55%. Integrated LLB degrees are also eligible.
  • Experience:Minimum 12 years as a Law Executive or Advocate, with expertise in legal matters related to arbitration, contracts, mergers, or industrial laws.

4. Chief Manager (Medical Services)

  • Educational Qualification:MBBS with MD/DNB in General Medicine (recognized by the Medical Council of India).
  • Experience:Minimum 9 years as a Medical Officer/Specialist in Government or reputed Private Sector organizations.

5. Chief Manager (Human Resources)

  • Educational Qualification:Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 60% marks) and MBA/PG Diploma in HR/Personnel Management with at least 65% marks.
  • Experience:Minimum 12 years of HR experience, including workforce management, organizational development, and compliance.
