Pay Scale:

₹35,400 – ₹1,12,400/- (Pay Level-6, Group B Non-Gazetted)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science from a recognized university.

Age Limit (as of 7th February 2025):

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 27 years
• Relaxations:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwBD (General): 10 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Military service period plus 3 years (up to 55 years).

Application Fee:

• General/OBC: ₹100/-
• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen/Women Candidates: Exempted
• Mode of Payment: Online through SBI e-Pay

How to Apply:

1. Mode: Online through the DSSSB official website.
2. Steps:
   • Register on DSSSB’s portal.
   • Complete the application form and upload the required documents.
   • Pay the application fee (if applicable).

Selection Process:

1. Objective/MCQ-Based Examination:
   • Total Marks: 200
   • Duration: 120 Minutes (160 Minutes for PwBD candidates)
   • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer
   • Exam Sections:
     • General Aptitude (50 Questions, 50 Marks)
     • General Knowledge (50 Questions, 50 Marks)
     • English Language (50 Questions, 50 Marks)
     • Library Science (50 Questions, 50 Marks)
2. Merit List:
   • Based on marks obtained in the objective test.
   • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
     • General: 50%
     • Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD): 45%

• Only one application is allowed per candidate; multiple submissions will result in disqualification.
• Ensure all information is accurate as no corrections will be allowed after submission.
• Admit cards will be available on the DSSSB website before the examination.
