The available positions are for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA), offered on a temporary basis.

Posts Details:

1. Junior Research Fellow (JRF)

• Duration: Initially for 2 years, extendable based on performance.
• Disciplines:
  • Electronics & Communication Engineering
  • Electrical & Electronics Engineering
  • Computer Science & Engineering/Information Technology
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Physics
  • Metallurgy Engineering
• Essential Qualifications:
  • First Class B.E./B.Tech. in the relevant discipline with a valid GATE score.
  • Or, First Class M.E./M.Tech. in the relevant field.
  • Or, First Class M.Sc. in Physics or Chemistry with a valid GATE/NET/SLET score.
• Age Limit: 28 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India norms).

2. Research Associate (RA)

• Duration: 2 years.
• Disciplines:
  • Electronics/CSE/Software Engineering/IT/Mechanical/Physics
• Essential Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. or First Class M.Sc. with relevant research experience in the discipline.
  • Or, First Class M.Tech. with research experience and publications in relevant fields.
• Age Limit: 35 years (relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates as per Government of India norms).

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be called for a written test/interview based on their academic performance and research experience. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview or joining.

Stipend:

As per Government of India norms.
