DRDO RCI Engagement of Apprentices 2024

Research Centre Imarat (RCI), a premier laboratory of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex, DRDO, invites applications from young and meritorious Indian Nationals for the engagement of apprentices (Graduate, Diploma, and ITI) for a period of one year under the Apprentices Act 1961 as amended in 1961, 1973, 1992, and 2019.

Overview:

Apprenticeship Training Categories and Qualifications:

1. Graduate Apprentice:

• Essential Qualification: B.E/B.Tech in ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical
• Number of Vacancies: 40
• Stipend: As per Government norms

2. Technician Apprentice (Diploma):

• Essential Qualification: Diploma in ECE, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical
• Number of Vacancies: 40
• Stipend: As per Government norms

3. Trade Apprentice (ITI):

• Essential Qualification: ITI pass out (NCVT/SCVT Affiliation) in Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic-Diesel, Electronics-Mechanic, Electrician, and COPA (Computer Operator and Programming Assistant)
• Number of Vacancies: 120
• Stipend: As per Government norms

Eligibility Criteria:

• Candidates should not be less than 18 years of age as on 01st August 2024.
• Candidates must have Aadhaar Seeded Bank account to receive 50% of the stipend from the Board of Apprenticeship and Training (BOAT) under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) Scheme for Graduate & Technician Apprentices.

Application Procedure:

1. Registration:

• B.E/B.Tech/Diploma candidates must register on the NATS 2.0 portal (NATS Portal).
• ITI trade apprentices must register on the Apprenticeship India Portal.

2. Application Submission:

• B.E/B.Tech/Diploma candidates should apply by logging into the NATS portal and selecting Research Centre Imarat (Enrolment ID: STLRAC000010).
• ITI candidates should apply by logging into the Apprenticeship India portal, selecting ‘Research Centre Imarat’ (Establishment ID: E05203600040), and choosing their respective trade.

Selection Procedure:

• Selection will be based on Academic Merit/Interview as required, subject to satisfactory verification of the documents.
