DRDO/DGRE invites applications from retired employees from Central Government/State Government/PSU/Autonomous Bodies for engagement as Consultants on a short-term contract basis. The details and eligibility criteria are as follows:

Position Details:

1. Consultant (Technical)

• Number of Posts: 2
• Pay Level: Level-12 of Pay Matrix
• Location: Chandigarh
• Contract Duration: One year, extendable as per norms

2. Consultant (Admin)

• Number of Posts: 1
• Pay Level: Level-6/7 of Pay Matrix
• Location: Chandigarh
• Contract Duration: One year, extendable as per norms

Eligibility Criteria:

• Experience: Retired employees from Central/State Governments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Universities, or Government R&D Organizations with considerable experience in relevant fields.
• Age Limit: Maximum age limit is 63 years as of the closing date of receipt of the application.
• Skills: Effective communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills, with a strong flair for in-depth examination of areas of work.
• Service Record: Must have an unblemished service record.

• 10th Mark sheet and certificate
• Final Mark sheet/Provisional certificate of B.E./B.Tech/Diploma/ITI
• Relevant experience certificates

Selection Procedure:

• Screening: Applications will be preliminarily scrutinized for eligibility and suitability.
• Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
• Merit List: A merit-wise panel will be prepared, valid for six months.
