The Centre for Fire, Explosive, and Environment Safety (CFEES) under DRDO focuses on safety-related R&D activities in defense applications. It is currently seeking motivated candidates for various research positions.

Overview:

Positions Available:

1. Research Associate (RA) – Chemistry

• No. of Positions: 2
• Essential Qualification: Ph.D. in Chemistry
• Age Limit: Maximum 35 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)
• Stipend: ₹67,000/- + HRA
• Date of Walk-in-Interview: 14th October 2024

2. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Chemistry

• No. of Positions: 3
• Essential Qualification: M.Sc. in Chemistry with NET/GATE qualification
• Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)
• Stipend: ₹37,000/- + HRA
• Date of Walk-in-Interview: 14th October 2024

3. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Mechanical Engineering

• No. of Positions: 1
• Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with NET/GATE qualification, First Division
• Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)
• Stipend: ₹37,000/- + HRA
• Date of Walk-in-Interview: 15th October 2024

4. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Bio-Chemical Engineering/Bio-Technology

• No. of Positions: 1
• Essential Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Bio-Chemical Engineering/Bio-Technology with NET/GATE qualification, First Division
• Age Limit: Maximum 28 years (Relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC candidates)
• Stipend: ₹37,000/- + HRA
• Date of Walk-in-Interview: 15th October 2024

General Instructions:

1. Candidates must bring the filled application form (Appendix ‘A’) along with attested copies of mark sheets, certificates, caste certificates, and any relevant publications.
2. Applicants currently employed in Government/PSUs/Autonomous bodies must bring a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer.
3. Age relaxation is provided as per Government rules.
4. The positions are purely temporary and do not guarantee regular appointments.
5. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
6. Government accommodation will not be provided.
