DRDO ADE Consultant (Technical) on Contract Basis 2024

The Aeronautical Development Establishment (ADE) is a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. ADE is engaged in the design and development of state-of-the-art aeronautical systems and technologies.

ADE is seeking applications from retired government employees for the position of Consultant (Technical) on a short-term contract basis. The engagement is for a period of one year, extendable as per norms.

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance in the field of aeronautical development.
• Assist in the review and evaluation of ongoing projects.
• Contribute to the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
• Support the team in troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
• Participate in meetings and discussions related to project planning and execution.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Retired officials from Central Government/State Government/PSU/Autonomous Bodies with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the relevant field.
• Must have retired at Level-12 or above as per the 7th CPC Pay Matrix.
• Should possess a strong flair for in-depth examination of technical issues.
• Preference will be given to candidates with experience in DRDO projects.
• Age should not exceed 63 years as of the closing date of application.

Selection Procedure:

• The selection will be based on the recommendations of a Screening Committee.
• Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
• The final selection will be subject to satisfactory verification of documents.

1. Signed printout of the application form.
2. Copy of the 10th mark sheet and certificate.
3. Final mark sheet/provisional certificate of B.E./B.Tech/Diploma/ITI.
4. Experience certificates from previous employers.
5. Proof of retirement (PPO).
6. Medical fitness certificate.
7. Police verification certificate.

Terms and Conditions:

• The engagement will be purely on a contract basis.
• The consultant will be entitled to a consolidated remuneration as per DRDO norms.
