Organization: The Durgapur Projects Limited (DPL), a Government of West Bengal Enterprise, Location: Administrative Building, Dr. B. C. Roy Avenue, Durgapur – 713201, Dist. Paschim Bardhaman, West Bengal. The Durgapur Projects Limited (DPL) is seeking applications for the contractual position of Senior Security Officer. The recruitment process is open for a single vacancy with a consolidated monthly remuneration of ₹50,600.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Must be a graduate in any discipline.
• Experience:
  • A minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience in any of the following:
    • Armed Forces of the Union
    • Police
    • Paramilitary Forces
    • Industrial Establishments
  • Should have held a rank not below:
    • DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police) in the Police
    • CO (Commanding Officer) in the Armed Forces of the Union
  • For candidates from Industrial Establishments:
    • Must have at least 5 years of experience in a responsible role within the Security Department.
• Age Limit:
  • Maximum age of 55 years as of January 1, 2025.
• Language Proficiency:
  • Knowledge of the Bengali language is preferred.

Selection Process:

• Mode of Selection:
  • The selection will be conducted through a Personal Interview (PI).
• Document Verification:
  • Candidates must ensure all documents submitted are accurate and meet the eligibility criteria.
  • Any false information or discrepancies at any stage of the recruitment process will result in the rejection of the candidature.
• NOC Requirement for Current Employees:
  • Candidates currently employed in Government, Semi-Government, PSU, or Autonomous bodies must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their current employer at the time of the interview.
  • Failing to provide the NOC will result in disqualification.
