The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Andhra Pradesh, has announced the DME AP Senior Resident Recruitment 2025, inviting online applications for 1,183 senior resident vacancies in broad and super specialties across government medical colleges and hospitals in Andhra Pradesh.

DME AP Senior Resident Vacancy 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 1183 vacant posts under the DME AP Recruitment Notification 2025.

DME AP Senior Resident Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification

• MD/MS/MCh/DM/MDS in the concerned specialty OR
• DNB in Broad Specialties from a medical institution with an attached hospital or a hospital with at least 500 beds, granted by the National Board of Examination (NBE)
• Registered with AP Medical Council/Dental Council

2. Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 44 years (as of the date of notification)
• Age relaxation may be applicable as per government rules.

3. Local Candidate Requirement

• Local candidates from Andhra Pradesh are given preference.
• Non-local candidates with AP Medical Council/AP Dental Council registration are eligible only if local candidates are unavailable.

DME AP Senior Resident Selection Process:

• Selection will be based on the marks obtained in the post-graduation examination (including theory & practical).
• If two candidates have the same marks, preference will be given to the elder candidate (as per date of birth).

DME AP Senior Resident Vacancy 2025 Application Fee:

• OC Candidates: ₹2,000/-
• BC/SC/ST Candidates: ₹1,000/-
