- ₹47,600–₹1,51,100 (Pay Level–8, Group B, Non-Ministerial).
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification:
- Essential:
- Master’s degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
- B.Ed./B.A.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed. or equivalent qualification recognized by NCTE.
Age Limit:
- Maximum: 30 years (Relaxations are applicable as per government norms).
- Additional relaxation for contractual employees of the same department (up to 5 years).
Application Process:
- Mode: Online through the DSSSB portal.
- Fee:
- ₹100/- (General).
- Exempted: Women, SC/ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen.
- Steps:
- Register/Login on DSSSB’s portal.
- Complete the application form with accurate details.
- Upload necessary documents.
- Submit the application fee via SBI e-pay.
Selection Process:
One-Tier Examination (Computer-Based Test)
- Sections:
- Section I: General Aptitude (Mental Ability, General Awareness, Language Comprehension, Numerical Aptitude) – 100 Marks.
- Section II: Subject-Specific MCQs & Teaching Methodology – 200 Marks.
- Duration: 3 hours
- Total Marks: 300
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Minimum Qualifying Marks:
- General/EWS: 40%
- OBC (Delhi): 35%
- SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
- Ex-servicemen: 5% relaxation in their respective category.
