Applications are invited for a total of 27 vacant posts under the following categories:

Eligibility Criteria:

• General Surgeon:
  • Qualification: MS (Surgery) or equivalent.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in laparoscopic surgery.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years post-MS.
• Ophthalmologist (Retinal Surgeon):
  • Qualification: MD/MS in Ophthalmology with a post-doctoral qualification or fellowship (minimum 1 year) in Retinal/Corneal surgery.
  • Experience: 3 years post-MD/MS, with at least 1 year as a Retinal/Corneal Surgeon.
• Ophthalmologist (Surgeon):
  • Qualification: MD/MS or PG Diploma in Ophthalmology.
  • Experience: 3 years post-MD/MS or 5 years post-PG Diploma.
• Senior Resident-Ophthalmology:
  • Qualification: MD/MS or PG Diploma in Ophthalmology.
  • If not available: MBBS with internship or 3 years of experience after MBBS in the concerned department.
  • Experience: None for MD/MS or PG Diploma; 3 years required for MBBS candidates.
• ENT Surgeon:
  • Qualification: MD/MS or PG Diploma in ENT.
  • Experience: 3 years post-MD/MS or 5 years post-PG Diploma.
• Senior Resident-ENT:
  • Qualification: MD/MS or PG Diploma in ENT.
  • If not available: MBBS with internship or 3 years of experience after MBBS in the concerned department.
  • Experience: None for MD/MS or PG Diploma; 3 years required for MBBS candidates.
• Medical Officer (Gastroenterology):
  • Qualification: MBBS with internship.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in Gastroenterology.
• Ortho Surgeon:
  • Qualification: MD/MS or PG Diploma in Orthopaedics.
  • Experience: 3 years post-MD/MS or 5 years post-PG Diploma.
• Senior Resident-Orthopaedics:
  • Qualification: MD/MS or PG Diploma in Orthopaedics.
  • If not available: MBBS with internship or 3 years of experience after MBBS in the concerned department.
  • Experience: None for MD/MS or PG Diploma; 3 years required for MBBS candidates.
• Cardiologist:
  • Qualification: DM (Cardiology) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Preference for candidates experienced in Cath Lab procedures.
• Medical Specialist (Cardiology):
  • Qualification: MD Medicine or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years post-MD, with 1 year in Cardiology.
• Medical Officer (Cardiology):
  • Qualification: MBBS with internship.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in Cardiology.
• Senior Resident-Pathology:
  • Qualification: MD(Pathology) or PG Diploma in Pathology.
  • If not available: MBBS with internship or 3 years of experience after MBBS in the concerned department.
  • Experience: None for MD/PG Diploma; 3 years required for MBBS candidates.
• Radiologist:
  • Qualification: MD (Radiology) or PG Diploma in Radiology.
  • Experience: 3 years post-MD/MS or 5 years post-PG Diploma.
• Anaesthetist:
  • Qualification: MD (Anaesthesia) or PG Diploma in Anaesthesia.
  • Experience: 3 years post-MD/MS or 5 years post-PG Diploma.
• Senior Resident-Gynae:
  • Qualification: MD (OBG) or PG Diploma in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
  • If not available: MBBS with internship or 3 years of experience after MBBS in the concerned department.
  • Experience: None for MD/PG Diploma; 3 years required for MBBS candidates.
• Paediatrician:
  • Qualification: MD (Paediatrics) or PG Diploma in Paediatrics.
  • Experience: 3 years post-MD/MS or 5 years post-PG Diploma.
• Senior Resident-Paediatrics:
  • Qualification: MD (Paediatrics) or PG Diploma in Paediatrics.
  • If not available: MBBS with internship or 3 years of experience after MBBS in the concerned department.
  • Experience: None for MD/PG Diploma; 3 years required for MBBS candidates.
• Pulmonologist:
  • Qualification: MD (Pulmonology) or PG Diploma in Pulmonology/Chest & TB/Respiratory Medicine.
  • Experience: 3 years post-MD/MS or 5 years post-PG Diploma.
  • Desirable: Proficiency in bronchoscopy.
• Nephrologist:
  • Qualification: DM (Nephrology) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year managing dialysis centers or renal procedures.
• Urologist:
  • Qualification: MCh (Urology) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in Urology procedures.
• Gastroenterologist:
  • Qualification: DM (Gastroenterology) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proficiency in GI endoscopy (diagnostic and therapeutic procedures).

Other Requirements:

• Age Limit: Maximum 50 years as of the application closing date.
• Medical Council Registration: Candidates must be registered with the respective Medical/Dental Council.

Contract Details:

• Duration of Contract:
  • Initial engagement for 3 months, extendable up to 11 months based on performance and hospital requirements.
• Work Conditions:
  • Shift duties/general/field duties as assigned.
  • Selected candidates must adhere to DCB’s terms and policies.

Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting: Applications will be screened for eligibility based on qualifications and experience.
2. Interview/Selection Test: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview or test. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the selection process.
3. Final Selection: Based on performance during the selection process.
