Cochin Shipyard Limited (CSL) is a premier Miniratna Schedule ‘A’ company under the Government of India. It is a leading shipbuilding and maintenance company, offering specialized services to the Indian Navy, Coast Guard, and global clients.

Overview:

Vacancy:

• Position: Instructor (Fire Fighting)
• Number of Vacancies: 1 (Reserved for OBC)
• Contract Tenure: 3 years, extendable for up to 2 years based on organizational requirements and performance.
• Age Limit: Maximum 65 years as of December 13, 2024 (born on or after December 14, 1959).

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification

• Diploma in any branch of Engineering OR Graduation in any discipline.

Experience

• Essential: Minimum 10 years of experience as Ex-Indian Navy/Coast Guard personnel, including at least 6 years in instructional roles in fire fighting.
• Desirable: Completion of the Nuclear, Biological, and Chemical Defence (NBCD) Instructor Course.

Remuneration:

• Consolidated Pay: ₹41,620 per month.
• Medical Allowance: ₹2,130 per month.
• Total: ₹43,750 per month.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct instructional duties related to fire fighting.
• Train personnel in fire prevention, safety protocols, and emergency response.
• Develop and deliver training materials and practical demonstrations.

Selection Process:

1. Practical Test (100 marks) to assess technical and instructional skills.
2. Shortlisting will be based on the online applications and uploaded certificates.
