1. Operator (Pipe Bending)

• Pay Scale: W5 (₹21,300 – ₹69,840)

2. Welder Cum Fitter (Welder / Gas & Electric)

• Vacancy: 1 (UR)
• Pay Scale: W5 (₹21,300 – ₹69,840)

3. Operator (Crane)

• Vacancy: 1 (SC)
• Pay Scale: W5 (₹21,300 – ₹69,840)

4. Operator (Plate Preservation)

• Vacancy: 1 (OBC)
• Pay Scale: W5 (₹21,300 – ₹69,840)

5. Welder Cum Fitter (Fitter)

• Vacancy: 1 (UR)
• Pay Scale: W5 (₹21,300 – ₹69,840)

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Operator (Pipe Bending)

• Educational Qualification:
  • SSLC Pass and ITI (National Trade Certificate) with All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Fitter Pipe/Plumber.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in operating pipe bending machines in Shipbuilding, Engineering, or related industries.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of CNC/semi-automatic pipe bending machines and machine hydraulics.

2. Welder Cum Fitter (Welder / Gas & Electric)

• Educational Qualification:
  • SSLC Pass and ITI (National Trade Certificate) with All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Welder.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in gas cutting, MIG/TIG welding, and brazing in Shipbuilding, Engineering, or related industries.

3. Operator (Crane)

• Educational Qualification:
  • SSLC Pass and ITI (National Trade Certificate) with All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in Fitter/Machinist/Electrician.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating EOT/Gantry cranes in Shipbuilding, Engineering, or Logistics industries.
  • Desirable: Knowledge of radio remote operation and troubleshooting VFD.

4. Operator (Plate Preservation)

• Educational Qualification:
  • SSLC Pass and ITI (National Trade Certificate) with All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate).
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in operating plate shot blasting and preservation machines in Shipbuilding, Engineering, or related industries.

5. Welder Cum Fitter (Fitter)

• Educational Qualification:
  • SSLC Pass and ITI (National Trade Certificate) with All India National Trade Test (National Apprenticeship Certificate) in the trade of Sheet Metal Worker or Fitter.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in fabrication, cutting, and welding in Shipbuilding, Engineering, or related industries.

General Eligibility Criteria

• Age Limit:
  • Maximum 40 years as of February 1, 2025.
  • Age relaxations:
    • SC: 5 years
    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
    • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government norms.
• Desirable Skills (for all posts):
  • Good communication skills and working knowledge of Hindi/Bengali.

Selection Process:

1. Phase I: Objective Type Test (30 Marks)
   • Duration: 35 minutes
   • Sections: General Knowledge (5 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (5 marks), Trade-related (20 marks).
2. Phase II: Practical Test in Relevant Trade (70 Marks)

• Minimum Passing Marks:
  • Unreserved: 50%
  • OBC: 45%
  • SC: 40% (for reserved posts).
• Final merit list will be based on combined scores of Phase I and Phase II.
