The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the notification for the CSIR-UGC NET June 2025 exam for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), Assistant Professorship, and Ph.D. admissions in Indian universities and colleges. The CSIR NET June 2025 Notification was released on 03 June 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online from 03 June 2025 to 23 June 2025. The CSIR UGC NET June 2025 Exam will be held on 26, 27 & 28 July 2025.

CSIR NET June 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the CSIR UGC NET June 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• Master’s Degree with required marks from a recognized university or institute.
• Candidates in the final year of their Master’s or awaiting results are also eligible provisionally.

Minimum Marks Required:

• General/UR/EWS: 55% marks
• OBC-NCL/SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: 50% marks

Age Limit:

• JRF: Maximum 30 years
• Assistant Professor/Ph.D. Admission: No upper age limit

The exam is conducted for five science subjects:

1. Chemical Sciences (701)

2. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean, and Planetary Sciences (702)

3. Life Sciences (703)

4. Mathematical Sciences (704)

5. Physical Sciences (705)

CSIR UGC NET June 2025 Exam Pattern:

• Mode: Online (CBT)

• Duration: 180 minutes

• Type: Objective MCQs

• Total Marks: 200

• Negative Marking: Yes (varies by section & subject)
