CSIR-NIIST Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification & Experience

Post Name Qualification Required
Technical Assistant Diploma in a relevant engineering discipline or B.Sc. in Chemistry, Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Applied Electronics, or Instrumentation with at least 60% marks + experience.
Technician (1) 10th Pass + ITI Certificate or 2 years full-time apprenticeship in relevant trade (civil servant, COPA, chemical plant, etc.).
Junior Stenographer 12th Pass + Stenography Proficiency (80 wpm in English/Hindi).
Junior Secretariat Assistant (General, F&A, S&P) 12th Pass + Typing Speed Proficiency (35 wpm in English / 30 wpm in Hindi).
Junior Hindi Translator Master’s Degree in Hindi/English with Diploma/Certificate in Translation OR 2 years of translation experience.

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
