Vacancy & Pay Scale:

Applications are invited for a total of 6 vacant posts under the following categories:

Pay Scale: Level 11 (₹1,23,000 approx. including allowances as per 7th CPC)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification & Desirable Experience:

1. Post Code-01 (UR-1):
   • Essential Qualification: Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Chemical/Pharmaceutical Sciences.
   • Desirable:
     • Research in Natural Products Chemistry.
     • Expertise in extraction, purification, and functional modification of marine resources using modern analytical techniques (e.g., NMR, MS, FTIR).
2. Post Code-02 (UR-1):
   • Essential Qualification: Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Biological Sciences.
   • Desirable:
     • Experience in plant genomics, NGS data analysis, and gene annotation with publications.
3. Post Code-03 (UR-1):
   • Essential Qualification: Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Chemical Sciences.
   • Desirable:
     • Research in silica-based materials (e.g., zeolites) for industrial applications.
4. Post Code-04 (OBC-1):
   • Essential Qualification: Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Biological Sciences/Biotechnology.
   • Desirable:
     • Research in algae/plant biotechnology, including genome editing and bio-stimulant characterization.
5. Post Code-05 (OBC-1):
   • Essential Qualification: Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Marine Biology/Environmental Sciences.
   • Desirable:
     • Research in marine ecology, environmental impact assessment, and coastal biology.
6. Post Code-06 (SC-1):
   • Essential Qualification: ME/M.Tech or Ph.D. (thesis submitted) in Chemical Engineering.
   • Desirable:
     • Industrial experience in chemical manufacturing and risk analysis of projects.

Age Limit: Maximum 32 years as of the last application date (age relaxation as per government norms).

Selection Process:

1. Screening:
   • Applications will be shortlisted based on essential and desirable qualifications, research experience, and publications.
2. Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview.
