The Director (Technical) will report to the Chairman and Managing Director and will be responsible for managing the technical departments, infrastructure augmentation, and ship repair projects. The role involves overseeing large-scale industrial workforce operations, ensuring adherence to HSE norms, maintaining industrial relations, and steering business development activities in ship repair and construction.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age:

• Internal candidates: Minimum 45 years, with 2 years of residual service.
• External candidates: Minimum 45 years, with 3 years of residual service.
• Maximum age: 60 years.

2. Employment Status:

• Candidates must be employed in a regular capacity in any of the following:
• CPSE (including Functional Directors)
• Central or State Government/Armed Forces
• SPSE or private companies with an annual turnover of ₹2000 crores or more

3. Qualifications:

• Engineering Graduate with a strong academic track record.
• Preference will be given to those with qualifications in Mechanical, Electrical, Marine, or Naval Architecture.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of cumulative experience in the last 10 years in relevant areas like shipbuilding, repair, business development, procurement, or shipyard maintenance.
