The Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is a national-level entrance examination conducted annually for admissions to undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law programs offered by 24 National Law Universities (NLUs) across India by the Consortium of National Law Universities. CLAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the UG & PG CLAT 2026, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
Undergraduate (UG) Program:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed 10+2 or an equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% marks for General/OBC/PwD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and 40% for SC/ST categories.

Age Limit: No upper age limit.​
Postgraduate (PG) Program:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have an LL.B. degree or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks for General/OBC/PwD/NRI/PIO/OCI categories and 45% for SC/ST categories.
