CIP Ranchi Recruitment 2025 Notification: The Central Institute of Psychiatry (CIP) in Ranchi is recruiting for 16 Posts of various on a tenure basis for up to three years. The positions include Clinical Psychology Tutor and Senior Resident in different specialties like Psychiatry, Neurology, Anesthesiology, and Radio-diagnosis. Applications are invited for a total of 16 vacant posts under the following categories:

CIP Ranchi Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

1. Clinical Psychology Tutor:

• M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology (1st or 2nd class) from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.
• M.Phil. (2 years duration) in Medical & Social Psychology or Clinical Psychology.
• Salary: Rs. 35,400 (Level-6) + allowances as per government rules

2. Senior Resident:

• A recognized medical qualification (MBBS).
• Postgraduate degree or diploma in the concerned specialty, such as Psychiatry, Neurology, Anesthesiology, or Radio-diagnosis.
• Salary: Rs. 67,700 (Level-11) + allowances as per government rules

Age Limit:- The age limit for the CIP Ranchi Recruitment 2025 is 40 years. However, age relaxation is provided:

• OBC: 3 years
• SC/ST: 5 years
• Persons with Disabilities (PWD): 10 years (13 years for OBC PWD, 15 years for SC/ST PWD)

Additional age relaxation applies for widows, divorced women, and candidates from the Armed Forces.

1. Written Examination

• Date: 11th March 2025
• Time: 11:00 AM
• Exam Format: Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Weightage: 60%
• Marking Scheme:
  • 4 marks for each correct answer
  • 1 mark deducted for each incorrect answer

2. Department Assessment

• Time: 2:30 PM (same day)
• Eligibility: Only candidates who qualify the written exam will be invited
• Weightage: 40%
