Chennai Metro Rail Limited (CMRL) is hiring 8 Assistant Managers (Civil) on a contractual basis with a monthly pay of ₹62,000. Eligible women candidates can apply online by February 10, 2025.

Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 8 vacant posts.

• Position: Assistant Manager (Civil)
• Consolidated Pay: ₹62,000 per month
• Contract Period: Initial contract of 2 years, extendable based on performance and project requirements.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institute approved by AICTE/UGC.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in the execution of large infrastructure projects, including:
  • Construction of major bridges, highways, railways, or metro rail projects.
  • Familiarity with contract preparation and management related to infrastructure projects.
  • Exposure to Metro constructions, deep excavation support systems, quality control, safety implementation, and program monitoring is desirable.

Age Limit (as of January 8, 2025):

• Maximum Age: 30 years
• Age relaxation applicable for:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • MBC/BC (including Muslims): 2 years
  • Differently Abled Persons: Up to 10 years
  • Women Ex-Service Personnel: Additional 3 years over length of service.

Selection Process:

1. Interview:
   • Evaluates knowledge, skills, attitude, and aptitude.
2. Medical Examination:
   • Candidates must pass a fitness test.
   • The cost of the first medical examination is borne by CMRL.
