The Central University of Kerala invites applications for the position of Guest Faculty in various disciplines under the Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP). These positions are on a temporary basis for one semester or until permanent faculty are appointed.

Applications are invited for a total of 4 vacant posts for the following subjects:

Eligibility Criteria:

Essential Qualifications:

1. Educational Requirements:
   • Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
   • B.Ed. Degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
2. Additional Requirements:
   • NET/SLET/SET Qualification or a Ph.D. in Education or the concerned subject.
   • Exemption from NET/SLET/SET applies to candidates with a Ph.D. as per UGC regulations if the following conditions are met:
     • Ph.D. awarded in regular mode.
     • Evaluated by at least two external examiners.
     • Open viva voce conducted.
     • Two research papers published, one in a refereed journal.
     • Two conference/seminar papers presented.

General Notes:

• Retired teachers up to the age of 70 years are eligible to apply.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a strong academic and research record.

Selection Process:

• Selection will be conducted via Walk-in-Interview.
• Information on the interview schedule will be uploaded on the university website.
