Central Electronics Limited (CEL), a Mini Ratna Enterprise under the Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, invites applications from Indian nationals for the following positions. CEL operates in four prime business verticals: Solar Photovoltaic (SPV), Railway Signaling Systems, Strategic Electronics, and Security & Surveillance Group (SSG).

Vacancies:
1. Position: Junior Technical Assistant (Grade NE7)
- Vacancies:
- Electrical: 2 (PwBD – 1, UR – 1)
- Electronics: 8 (UR – 4, OBC – 2, SC – 1, EWS – 1)
- Mechanical: 2 (OBC – 1, Ex-SM – 1)
- Qualifications:
Diploma (3 years) or B.Sc. in the relevant field (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical Engineering).- 1st Class Degree with a minimum of 1 year of post-qualification experience.
- 2nd Class Degree with a minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience.
- Age Limit: 25 years (as of October 31, 2024).
- Pay Scale: ₹22,250 – 3% – ₹75,000.
2. Position: Technician ‘B’ (Grade NE4)
- Vacancies:
- Electrical: 2 (PwBD – 1, UR – 1)
- Electronics: 3 (UR – 2, OBC – 1)
- Machinist: 2 (UR – 1, SC – 1)
- Qualifications:
Minimum SSC (10th) or equivalent with an ITI certificate in the respective trade.- Minimum 1 year of relevant post-qualification experience required.
- Age Limit: 25 years (as of October 31, 2024).
- Pay Scale: ₹19,000 – 3% – ₹60,000.
Eligibility and Relaxations:
- Nationality: Indian.
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD: 10-15 years based on the category
- Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms
- Additional Criteria: Candidates must possess qualifications from a recognized institution. Experience must be substantiated with certificates.
Selection Process:
- Written Examination (CBT/PBT):
- Duration: 2 hours
- Objective Type (100 questions, 1 mark each)
- Sections:
- Technical/Subject Knowledge: 60 questions
- Aptitude (General English, Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness): 40 questions
- Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer.
- Trade Test/Practical Examination:
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited based on merit.
- Final Merit List:
- Weightage: Written Exam (60%) + Trade Test (40%).

- General/OBC: ₹1000 (non-refundable).
- SC/ST/PwBD/ExSM: Exempted.
