CAT 2025 Exam

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a national-level entrance exam administered by the IIMs for admission to MBA/PGDM and other postgraduate management programs. The CAT 2025 Notification is released on 1 August 2025. Eligible candidates can apply online for CAT 2025 from 1 August 2025 to 13 September 2025. The CAT 2025 Exam will be held on 30 November 2025.

CAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the CAT 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/PwD) from a recognized university. OR

• A professional degree like CA/CS/ICWA or Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries of India (FIAI) with the required percentage.

• Candidates in their final year of graduation or awaiting results may also apply.

CAT 2025 Exam Pattern:

• Mode: Computer-Based Test (CBT)
• Duration: 120 minutes (3 sections x 40 minutes each)
• Sections:
  • Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension– ~24 questions
  • Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR) – ~22 questions
  • Quantitative Ability (QA) – ~22 questions
• Type of Questions: MCQs & Non-MCQs (TITA)
• Marking Scheme: +3 for correct answers, -1 for incorrect MCQs, no negative marking for TITA.

CAT 2025 Registration Fee:

• SC/ST/PwD candidates: ₹1300
• All other candidates: ₹2600
