The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced 56 vacancies for the Lower Division Clerk (LDC) and Welfare Organizer posts under the BSSC Recruitment 2025 notification. Eligible candidates can apply online for the BSSC Field Assistant vacancy from April 25, 2025, to May 21, 2025.

BSSC LDC & Welfare Organizer Vacancy 2025 Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 56 vacant posts under the BSSC Recruitment 2025 Notification for the following categories:

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC): 31
• Welfare Organizer: 25

BSSC LDC & Welfare Organizer Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the BSSC LDC & Welfare Organizer vacancy 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

1. Welfare Organizer

• Must have passed the Intermediate (12th) or equivalent examination.

2. Lower Division Clerk

• Must have knowledge of computer operation and typing skills (both in Hindi and English).
• Must have passed the Intermediate (12th) or equivalent examination.

Desirable Qualification:

• Ex-servicemen with ranks from Havildar to Subedar Major in the Army, Navy, or Air Force, or equivalent.

Age Limit (as of 01.08.2024)

• Maximum Age: 57 years

BSSC LDC & Welfare Organizer Selection Process:

1. Written Examination: Objective-type questions, 2 sections (consists 25 questions each)

2. ​Typing/Skill Test (For LDC Post Only)

3. Document Verification

BSSC LDC & Welfare Organizer Exam Pattern 2025:

Pre-Exam:

• Type of Questions: Objective and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Total Number of Questions: 50
• Marks for Each Correct Answer: 4 marks
• Negative Marking for Incorrect Answer: Deduction of 1 mark
• Total Duration: 1 hour

Typing/Skill Test (For LDC Post Only)

• Typing Speed: 25 words per minute (Hindi & English)
• Duration: 10 minutes
• Minimum Accuracy: At least 98.5% (not more than 1.5% errors allowed)

BSSC LDC & Welfare Organizer Pre-Exam Syllabus 2025:

The preliminary exam for LDC & Welfare Organizer will consist of one paper, divided into 2 parts:

Part-1: General Subjects (25 Questions)

1. General Knowledge (5 Questions):
   • Indian and Neighboring Countries: History, Culture, Geography, Economy
   • Sports, Awards, Books & Authors, Current Affairs
   • Armed Forces, Inventions & Discoveries, Important Organizations
2. General Science (5 Questions):
   • Basics of Physics, Chemistry & Biology
   • Human body, Life processes, Cells, Tissues, Reproduction
3. Mathematics (10 Questions):
   • Number System, HCF, LCM, Decimals, Percentages
   • Ratio & Proportion, Interest, Profit & Loss, Averages
   • Time & Distance, Time & Work, Geometry, Algebra, Trigonometry
4. Computer Knowledge (5 Questions):
   • Basics of Computers, MS Office, Typing (Hindi/English)
   • Internet usage, Email communication

Part-2: English (25 Questions)

• Level: Matriculation Standard
• Topics include:
  • Comprehension, Parts of Speech, Verbs, Tenses, Modals
  • Active/Passive Voice, Synonyms, Antonyms, One-word Substitution
  • Idioms & Phrases, Sentence Structure, Vocabulary
