The preliminary exam for Field Assistant will consist of one paper covering General Knowledge, with the following subjects:
1. General Studies:

Current Affairs: Scientific progress, awards, Indian languages, books, capitals, currency, sports, and important events.

India and Neighboring Countries: History, culture, geography, economy, independence movement, agriculture, Constitution, political system, Panchayati Raj, community development, five-year plans, and Bihar’s contributions.
2. General Science & Mathematics:

General Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography (matriculation level).

Mathematics: Number systems, basic arithmetic, percentages, ratios, averages, interest, and profit & loss.
3. Mental Ability Test:

Reasoning: Analogy, similarity and differences, spatial visualization, problem-solving, analysis, observation, relationship concepts, arithmetic reasoning, and number series.
