Bihar Police Sub-Inspector Prohibition Eligibility Criteria:
1. Educational Qualification (as of 1st August 2024)
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification approved by the state government.
2. Age Limit (as of 1st August 2024)
The age criteria differ for various categories:

BPSSC Sub-Inspector Prohibition Selection Process
The selection process in Bihar Police for Sub-Inspector Prohibition consists of three stages:
1. Written Examination
- Exam Mode: Offline
- Two Stages: Prelims & Mains
Preliminary Exam
- Total Marks: 200
- Total Questions: 100
- Duration: 2 Hours
Mains Exam:
- Paper 1: 200 marks (2 Hours)
- Paper 2: 200 marks (2 Hours)
- Negative Marking: 0.2 marks per wrong answer
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
Candidates who clear the Mains Examination will have to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET).
