BMRCL Assistant Manager Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria:

1. Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 38 years (as on the last date of application submission).

2. Educational Qualification & Experience

✅ For Assistant Manager (Social Impact Assessment)

• Educational Qualification:
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Sociology, Development Studies, Public Policy, Urban Planning, or a related field with minimum 60% marks / equivalent CGPA.
    OR
  • Graduation in BSW / BBA / BBM with Post-Graduation (minimum 60% marks / equivalent CGPA).
• Experience:
  • Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in Social Impact Assessment, Resettlement & Rehabilitation (R&R), or community development projects.
  • Preferably in infrastructure or urban transport sectors.
• Skills Required:
  • Strong knowledge of social safeguard policies, laws, and regulations.
  • Experience in field assessments and stakeholder consultations.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Kannada (preferred).
  • Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Additional Preferences:
  • Experience in metro rail, transportation, or urban infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with international social safeguard guidelines (World Bank, ADB, IFC).
  • Proficiency in GIS tools for socio-economic mapping.

✅ For Assistant Manager (Environment)

• Educational Qualification:
  • M.Sc. in Forestry, Environmental Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology with minimum 60% marks / equivalent CGPA from a government-recognized university.
    OR
  • BE/B.Tech (Environment) with minimum 60% marks / equivalent CGPA from a government-recognized university.
  • M.Tech/MS in the relevant field will be preferred.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 6 years of post-qualification experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Management Plans (EMP), Environmental Monitoring, Environmental Clearances.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental acts, rules, and policies.
  • Experience in drafting and implementing environmental specifications.
• Preference:
  • Candidates with experience in the environmental department of metro projects.

3. Contract Period

• Appointment is contractual for 3 years.
• The contract may be extended based on performance and requirement.
• Can be terminated by either party with 3 months’ notice or payment in lieu of notice.

BMRCL Assistant Manager Recruitment 2025 Selection Process:

1. Shortlisting of Candidates

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their eligibility, qualifications, and experience.
• Mere possession of the minimum experience and qualifications does not guarantee selection for an interview.
• Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.

2. Interview

• The selection process will be conducted through an interview by a committee constituted by the competent authority.
• Candidates must carry original documents for verification at the time of the interview.
• Knowledge of Kannada will be given preference.

3. Merit List

• The final merit list will be prepared based on performance in the interview.
• Selected candidates will receive an official offer letter from BMRCL.

4. Document Verification

• Shortlisted candidates must submit self-attested copies of required documents along with the hard copy of the application.
• At the time of joining, candidates must provide original certificates for verification.

5. Final Selection

• The decision of BMRCL regarding selection is final and binding.
• The selected candidates will be appointed on a contractual basis for 3 years, with the possibility of extension based on performance and requirement.
