​The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the notification for the Diploma Entrance Competitive Examination [Lateral Entry] (DECE LE) 2025, facilitating admissions into the second year of various diploma programs across Bihar’s polytechnic institutes. Eligible candidates can apply online from March 20, 2025, to April 15, 2025.

Bihar DECE LE Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the Bihar Diploma Lateral Entry 2025 exam, candidates should possess the following:

Educational Qualification:

• Passed 10+2 with the required subjects.  OR
• Completed 10th grade along with a 2-year ITI course in an appropriate trade.

DECE LE 2025 Exam Pattern:

• Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics​
• Total Questions: 150 (50 per subject)​
• Total Marks: 600 (200 per subject)​
• Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes (2:00 PM to 4:15 PM)​
• Question Type: Objective​
• Marking Scheme: +4 for correct answers, -1 for incorrect answers​
• Medium: English and Hindi

DECE LE 2025 Application Form Fee:

• General/BC/EBC: ₹2,200​

• SC/ST/DQ: ₹2,000

2. Click on the “Online Application Portal of DECE [LE]-2025” link.
3. Select “New Registration” and provide the required details.
4. Log in with your credentials and fill out the application form.
5. Pay the application fee & submit the form.
