Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, invites applications from experienced professionals for the posts of Senior Engineer and Deputy Engineer on a fixed-term basis for a period of five years, extendable up to a maximum of seven years based on performance and organizational requirements.

Salary Details:

1. Senior Engineer (E-III Grade): Pay scale of ₹50,000 – ₹1,60,000 per month.

2. Deputy Engineer (E-II Grade): Pay scale of ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000 per month.

In addition to the basic pay, selected candidates will receive Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), 35% of basic pay as perquisites, Performance Related Pay (PRP), and medical benefits as per company rules.

Location: Pune and Nagpur.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification:
  • Senior Engineer (Electrical): BE/B.Tech/AMIE/GIETE in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with First Class (Pass Class for PwBD).
  • Deputy Engineer (Civil): BE/B.Tech/AMIE/GIETE in Civil Engineering with First Class (Pass Class for PwBD).
  • Deputy Engineer (Mechanical): BE/B.Tech/AMIE/GIETE in Mechanical Engineering with First Class (Pass Class for PwBD).
• Experience:
  • Senior Engineer: Minimum 4-5 years of post-qualification experience in power projects, electrical installations, or related fields.
  • Deputy Engineer (Civil/Mechanical): No prior experience required; fresh graduates are eligible.
• Age Limit (as of 01 November 2024):
  • Senior Engineer: Maximum 35 years.
  • Deputy Engineer: Maximum 28 years.
  • Age Relaxation: OBC-3 years; SC/ST-5 years; PwBD (General)-10 years; PwBD (OBC)-13 years; PwBD (SC/ST)-15 years.
• Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
• Additional Criteria:
  • Candidates must have no pending backlogs in their qualifying degree at the time of application.
  • Basic knowledge of tools, systems, and project management in the relevant field is required.
  • Candidates employed in government/semi-government organizations must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) during the interview.

Selection Process:

1. Written Test (85% weightage):
   • Duration: Objective-type test covering technical and general aptitude.
   • Qualifying Marks:
     • GEN/OBC/EWS: 35%
     • PwBD: 30%
2. Interview (15% weightage):
   • Candidates shortlisted in a 1:7 (E-III) or 1:5 (E-II) ratio based on written test performance.
3. Final Selection:
   • Based on combined written test and interview scores.
