Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) is recruiting 350 Probationary Engineers in Electronics and Mechanical disciplines with a pay scale of ₹40,000–₹1,40,000. Eligible candidates can apply online by January 31, 2025.

Overview:

Vacancy Details:

Applications are invited for a total of 350 vacant posts.

Pay Scale:

• Basic Pay: ₹40,000–₹1,40,000 (E-II Grade).
• CTC: Approx. ₹13 lakh per annum, including DA, HRA, Medical Reimbursement, and performance-linked pay.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• General/OBC/EWS: First Class in B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in relevant disciplines (Electronics/Mechanical).
• SC/ST/PwBD: Pass Class in the above qualifications.
• Candidates in their final year of engineering (appearing in May/June 2025) are also eligible to apply.

Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025):

• General/EWS: 25 years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 28 years
• SC/ST: 30 years
• PwBD: Additional 10 years relaxation.

Selection Process:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT):
   • Duration: 120 minutes
   • Total Questions: 125 (100 Technical + 25 General Aptitude and Reasoning).
   • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
   • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
     • General/OBC/EWS: 35%
     • SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
2. Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates (based on CBT) will be called for an interview.
   • Weightage: CBT – 85%, Interview – 15%.

Application Fee:

• General/OBC/EWS: ₹1,000 + GST
• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: Exempted
