Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Defence, invites applications for the post of Deputy Engineer (E-II) on a fixed-term basis for five years (extendable by two years). Applications are invited for a total of 23 vacant posts under the following categories:

Pay Scale and Benefits:

• Pay Scale: ₹40,000 – ₹1,40,000 (E-II Grade)
• Annual CTC: Approx. ₹12 – ₹12.5 lakhs
• Additional Benefits:
  • Dearness Allowance (DA)
  • House Rent Allowance (HRA)
  • Conveyance Allowance
  • Perquisites: 35% of annual basic pay
  • Performance-Related Pay (PRP)

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Essential Qualification: BE/B.Tech/AMIE/GIETE/B.Sc. Engineering (4-year course) in relevant disciplines:
  • Electronics: Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, Communication.
  • Mechanical: Mechanical/Production Engineering.
  • Computer Science: Computer Science, IT, or related.
  • Civil: Civil Engineering.
  • Electrical & Electronics: Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum Marks:
  • UR/OBC/EWS: First Class (minimum 60%)
  • SC/ST/PwBD: Pass Class

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in the respective field.

Age Limit (as of 01.01.2025): 24 years

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST: 5 years
• OBC (NCL): 3 years
• PwBD: 10 years

Selection Process:

1. Written Test:
   • Objective questions for 150 marks
     • General Aptitude: Logical reasoning, analytical ability, data interpretation, and general knowledge.
     • Technical Aptitude: Discipline-specific knowledge.
   • Qualifying Marks:
     • General/OBC/EWS: 35%
     • SC/ST/PwBD: 30%
2. Interview:
   • Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
   • Final selection is based on the performance in both the Written Test and Interview.

• SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: Exempted
