​The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB) has released the BCECE (LE) 2025 Exam notification for lateral entry admissions into the second year of undergraduate programs in Engineering, Paramedical, and Pharmacy courses. Eligible candidates can apply online from 16 April to 11 May 2025. The exam will be conducted on June 8, 2025.

BCECE LE Exam Overview:

BCECE LE Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the BCECE LE Admission, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Engineering Stream:

• Passed a minimum 3-year or 2-year (Lateral Entry) Diploma in any branch of Engineering and Technology OR
• Passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognized university OR
• Passed B.Voc or 3-Year D.Voc stream in the same or allied sector.

 Age Limit: No age limit.

Para Medical:

• Passed a two-year Para Medical Diploma course recognized by the Government of Bihar or the Government of India.

Pharmacy:

• Passed a two-year Diploma in Pharmacy course recognized by the Government of Bihar or the Government of India.

Final-year students can also apply but must pass the diploma before the interview/counseling stage.

Para-Medical & Pharmacy Streams:

• Minimum Age: 18 years as of December 31, 2025

BCECE LE 2025 Exam Pattern:

• Mode: Offline (Pen and Paper-based)
• Duration: 2 hours 15 minutes
• Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
• Marking Scheme: Each correct answer awards 4 marks; 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.

Engineering Stream:

• Mathematics: 50 questions
• Engineering Mechanics: 50 questions
• General Engineering: 50 questions

​Para-Medical:

• Anatomy & Physiology: 50 questions
• Pathology, Microbiology & Biochemistry: 50 questions
• English: 50 questions

Pharmacy Streams:

• Pharmaceutics-I: 50 questions
• Pharmaceutics-II: 50 questions
• English: 50 questions

BCECE LE Application Form Fee:

• All Candidates: Rs. 2200

• Register using your email & mobile number.

• Fill out the form & upload the required documents.

• Pay the application fee online
