1. Permanent Resident of Assam

   • Must submit a PRC (Permanent Resident Certificate) issued in Assam for educational purposes OR
   • Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate of Assam.

2. Educational Qualifications

   • Master’s degree in any discipline (uniformly brilliant academic record).
   • B.T./B.Ed. degree from an NCTE-recognized institution.
   • Experience (any one of the following):
     • 10 years of teaching experience in schools and colleges, OR
     • 10 years of administrative experience, of which 5 years must be teaching.

3. Age Limit (as of 01 January 2025)

   • Minimum Age: 21 years
   • Maximum Age: 38 years
   • Age Relaxation:
     • +5 years for SC/ST candidates (up to 43 years)
     • +3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates (up to 41 years)
     • For Ex-Servicemen: max-age 50 years (further relaxations for reserved categories)
     • For PwBD candidates: +10 years irrespective of category
