To apply for Inspector of Legal Metrology, candidates must possess the following:

1. Nationality & Residency

• The candidate must be an Indian citizen & a permanent resident of Assam.

2. Educational Qualification

• B.Sc. degree in Science with Physics as one of the subjects OR
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a recognized university.

3. Age Limit (as of 01.01.2025)

• Minimum age: 21 years
• Maximum age: 38 years

APSC Legal Metrology Inspector Selection Process:

The selection process for Inspector of Legal Metrology includes:

1. Written Examination (Objective Type)

2. Interview (via voice)

• Candidates who qualify in the written examination will be called for an interview at APSC.

3. Document Verification
