The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the notification for the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) 2025, aiming to recruit candidates for 262 vacancies across various state government departments. Assam PSC CCE Eligibility Criteria:
1. Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university in any discipline.
2. Age Limit (as of January 1, 2025):
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 38 years
- Age Relaxation:
- OBC/MOBC: Up to 41 years
- SC/ST: Up to 43 years
- PwBD: Up to 48 years
Assam PSC CCE Selection Process:
The selection process comprises three stages:
1. Preliminary Examination:
- Objective-type questions.
- Consists of two papers:
- General Studies I: 200 marks
- General Studies II: 200 marks
- Duration: 2 hours.
2. Main Examination:
- Descriptive-type papers.
- Includes: Essay Paper: 250 marks
- General Studies Papers: Four papers, each of 250 marks
- Optional Subject Papers: Two papers, each of 250 marks
3. Interview (personality test):
- Carries 275 marks.
APSC CCE Application Form Fee:
- General/EWS: ₹297.20
- SC/ST/OBC/MOBC: ₹197.20
- BPL/PwBD/Women: ₹47.20
