The Government of Andhra Pradesh, through the Department of School Education, has announced 16,347 vacancies for the post of Teacher under the AP DSC Recruitment 2025 notification. Eligible candidates can apply online for the AP DSC School Assistants, SGT, TGT, PGT, and Principals vacancy from April 20, 2025, to May 15, 2025.

Applications are invited for a total of 16,347 vacant posts under the AP DSC Recruitment 2025 Notification for the following categories:

AP DSC Teacher & School Assistants Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for the AP DSC School Assistants, SGT, TGT, PGT, and Principals vacancy 2025, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

Educational Qualification:

• School Assistant: Graduation with Mathematics/Applied Mathematics/Statistics and a B.Ed./BA.B.Ed./B.Sc.B.Ed. or PG Degree or BCA
• Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT): 12th pass with 2-year Diploma in Education (D.Ed.)/D.El.Ed or equivalent, or  B.El.Ed
• Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT): Graduation/PG and B.Ed Special Education or equivalent, or a 4-year Integrated Degree Course or PG + 3-year integrated B.Ed-M.Ed (Special Education) or BCA
• Post Graduate Teacher (PGT): PG degree/2-year Integrated PG Course in relevant subjects with B.Ed/B.Ed Special Education
• Physical Education Teacher (PET): 12th pass with U.G.D.P.Ed or Bachelor’s in Physical Education or M.P.Ed
• Principal: Integrated PG Course + B.Ed / B.Ed Special Education or PG Degree + B.Ed or PG Degree + 3-year Integrated B.Ed-M.Ed

Age Limit (as of 01.07.2025)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 44 years

AP DSC Teacher & School Assistants Selection Process:

The selection process for AP DSC School Assistants, SGT, TGT, PGT, and Principals includes the following stages:

• Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT): CBT, 2:30-3 hours

• Weightage to TET Score (where applicable)

• Verification of Documents

• Merit-based selection

Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) 2025:

Below is the detailed AP DSC TRT Exam Pattern 2025:

Secondary Grade Teacher (SGT)/TGT

• Duration: 2 Hours 30 Minutes
• Total Questions: 160 MCQs
• Total Marks: 80 Marks

Physical Education Teacher (PET) & School Assistants:

• Duration: 3 Hours
• Total Questions: 200 MCQs
• Total Marks: 100 Marks

AP DSC Teacher Application Form Fee:
