The University of Allahabad invites applications for PGAT (Postgraduate Admission Test) 2025 for admission into LL.B., M.Com., and LL.M. (conventional courses) & non-conventional and professional courses. Eligible candidates can apply online from April 25, 2025, to May 16, 2025. The PGAT 2025 date will be notified later.

Allahabad University PGAT Courses Offered:

The PGAT 2025 is divided into two categories:​

• PGAT-I: Conventional postgraduate courses such as LL.B., M.Com., and LL.M.

• PGAT-II: Professional and other specialized programs like B.Ed., M.Ed., MBA, MBA (RD), MCA, M.Sc. in Food Technology, M.Voc. in Media Studies, and PGDCA.

University of Allahabad PGAT Eligibility:

To be eligible for the Allahabad University PG Admission Test 2025, candidates should possess the following:

• MA, M.Com, M.Sc (PGAT-I): Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university in India.
• LLB (3-Year Law Program): Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university
• LLM (Master of Laws): LLB or equivalent law degree from a recognized university in India.
• B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education): Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a recognized university.
• M.Ed. (Master of Education): B.Ed. degree from a recognized university.
• MBA/MBA (RD): Bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.

Allahabad University PGAT 2025 Exam Pattern:

• Total Marks: 300
• Questions: 150 MCQs
  • 50 questions from General Awareness, English, Hindi, Logical Reasoning, Mental Ability (compulsory for most programs)
  • 100 questions specific to the selected subject/course
• Mode:
  • • PGAT-I: Online or Offline
    • PGAT-II: Online only
• Negative Marking: No negative marking
