Pay Scale:
- Level-11 of 7th CPC: ₹67,700 per month + NPA and other admissible allowances.
Eligibility Criteria:
Educational Qualification
- Essential: Postgraduate degree (MD/MS/DNB/DM/M.Ch) in the relevant discipline recognized by MCI/NMC/NBE.
- Eligibility for Clinical Haematology: Candidates with MD in General Medicine or MD in Paediatrics can apply.
- Candidates who passed their final postgraduate examination in December 2024 are also eligible.
Age Limit (as of January 28, 2025):
- Maximum Age: 45 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10 years
Application Fee:
- General/OBC: ₹1,500 + transaction charges
- SC/ST/EWS: ₹1,200 + transaction charges
- Ex-Servicemen/Women/PwBD: Exempted

Selection Process:
- Written Examination:
- Type: MCQ-based
- Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
- Total Questions: 100 (1 mark each)
- Qualifying Marks:
- UR: 50%
- OBC/EWS: 45%
- SC/ST: 40%
- No negative marking.
- Venue: Examination Hall, Administrative Building, AIIMS Patna
- Final Selection:
- Solely based on marks obtained in the written examination.
- Results will be published on the official AIIMS Patna website.
