The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has announced the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 8 for posts at Level 07 in the Pay Matrix (Pre-Revised Pay Band-2: Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4600) under Group-B. AIIMS Nursing Officer Vacancy Details:

Recruitment is for Nursing Officer Posts at AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS institutions across India. The number of vacancies will be determined based on institutional requirements.

AIIMS NORCET 8 (Nursing Officer) Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:
Candidates must have one of the following credentials:

• Option I:

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council-recognized institute or university,
    OR
  • B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institute.

• Option II:

  • Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery from an Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council-recognized institute/board,
  • AND registration as nurses & midwives with the State/Indian Nursing Council.
  • Additionally, candidates must have a minimum of two years experience in a hospital with at least 50 beds, acquired after completing their essential qualifications (including residency, result declaration, and registration).

Age Limit:

• Minimum: 18 years
• Maximum: 30 years

AIIMS NORCET 8 2025 Selection Process:

The selection process for AIIMS Delhi Nursing Recruitment 2025 consists of two stages:

1. Stage 1: Online Computer Based Test (CBT):

   • Preliminary Exam: Scheduled for 12th April 2025.
   • Mains Exam: Scheduled for 2nd May 2025.
   • There is no negative marking.

2. Stage 2: Document Verification and Interview:

   • Final selection will be based on overall performance in the written examinations and subsequent stages.
