AIIMS Bhubaneswar Faculty (Group A) Recruitment 2025

AIIMS Bhubaneswar invites applications from SC/ST/OBC candidates for Faculty (Group ‘A’) positions across various medical and non-medical disciplines. This is a special recruitment drive offering opportunities to contribute to education, research, and healthcare at a premier institute of national importance.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualifications:

For Medical Candidates:

1. MBBS with a postgraduate qualification (MD/MS/DNB) in the relevant specialty.
2. For super-specialty disciplines: DM/M.Ch. (recognized 2/3/5 years courses).

For Non-Medical Candidates:

1. Master’s degree (e.g., M.Sc.) in relevant subjects like Anatomy, Biochemistry, or Pharmacology.
2. Doctorate (Ph.D.) in the relevant discipline.

Experience Requirements:

• Professor: 14 years teaching/research experience after MD/MS or equivalent.
• Additional Professor: 10 years experience after MD/MS or equivalent.
• Associate Professor: 6 years experience after MD/MS or equivalent.
• Assistant Professor: 3 years experience after MD/MS or equivalent.

Note: For SC/ST candidates, a one-year relaxation in teaching/research experience is applicable.

Age Limit:

• Maximum Age (Professor/Additional Professor): 58 years
• Maximum Age (Associate Professor/Assistant Professor): 50 years

Age Relaxation:

• • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwD: 10 years

Selection Process:

• Applications will be shortlisted based on eligibility.
• Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview (in-person or online).
• A screening test may be conducted if the number of applicants is large.

   • Application Deadline: 30 days from publication in the Employment News.
2. Required Documents:
   • Matriculation Certificate (for age proof).
   • MBBS/MD/MS/DM/M.Ch. degree certificates and mark sheets.
   • Teaching/research experience certificates.
   • Caste/PwBD certificate (if applicable).
3. Application Fee:
   • OBC candidates: ₹1,000/-
   • SC/ST/PwBD/Women Candidates: No fee.
4. Hard Copy Submission:
   • Send a signed copy of the online application with self-attested documents to:
