The Assam Engineering Service Recruitment Board (AESRB) has invited online applications for the posts of Assistant Professors (Technical and Non-Technical) in State Government Engineering Colleges under the AESRB Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025 notification. AESRB Assistant Professor Eligibility Criteria:

To be eligible for Assistant Professors (Technical and Non-Technical), candidates should possess the following:

For Assistant Professor (Technical):

• Educational Qualification:
  • B.E./B.Tech./B.S. and M.E./M.Tech./M.S. or integrated M.Tech in a relevant branch with First Class in any one of the degrees.
  • OR B.E./B.Tech. + MCA or Graduation with Math + MCA with 2 years of experience (for Computer Application only).
  • OR a Ph.D. after a Bachelor’s from an institute of national importance with a valid GATE/CEED score.

For Assistant Professor (Non-Technical):

• Educational Qualification:
  • Master’s Degree in a relevant subject (Mathematics) with at least 55% marks.
  • Must meet UGC 2018 regulations (including NET/SET/Ph.D. requirements).

Age Limit (as of 01.07.2025)

• Minimum Age: 21 years
• Maximum Age: 38 years (General Category)

AESRB Assistant Professor Selection Process:

1. OMR-based Written Examination (75 Marks)
   • MCQ format
   • 0.25 negative marking per wrong answer
2. Teaching Proficiency Test (25 Marks)
   • For shortlisted candidates only
